We trust in our scientific knowledge of brewing, the brewing expertise of our employees and our traditional craft brewing processes. It goes without saying that our beers are brewed using only water, malt, hops and yeast.
Within the limits of the Bavarian Beer Purity Law of 1516 we are breaking new ground and passionately creating innovative products at our brewery lab. Through slow fermentation and gentle and cold maturation we allow our beers the time they need to develop their exquisite flavours.
Independence & personal responsibility
The independence of Privatbrauerei Schweiger and the protection of our entrepreneurial freedom is a central premise for our corporate activities. Since the company was founded, the well-being of the company and of its employees has been in the hands of family member shareholders. Our aim is to ensure this independence going forward.
Local & sustainable
Where possible, we procure all the raw materials needed for our beers locally or from the nearby regions. We are particularly proud of our own well at a depth of 150 m and of our own maltings.
This enables us not only to acquire premium quality raw materials but to conserve resources while at the same time having regard to the protection of the environment and quality characteristics.
