Ice cold gold.

Schweiger Aurum, the first specialty beer from our brew workshop, is crafted with
time and artisanal skill in a unique process. During „cold hopping“ or „dry hopping“,
our naturally cloudy Kellerbier (matured beer) is enhanced in the storage tank at 0 degrees Celsius with an additional dose of aroma hops. For Aurum, we use „Cascade,“ a hop variety originating from America that is specially grown for us in the Hallertau region.
This gives our Aurum a distinctly fruity and floral aroma with citrus notes and an
elegantly light bitterness.

In our brew workshop, our brewmaster experiments with new recipes, brewing them with his creativity and meticulous attention to detail in small batches, much like a test kitchen. Naturally, these smallbatch masterpieces are always created within the framework of our over 500-year-old Bavarian Purity Law. This continuously reminds us that, with nothing more than brewing water, malt, hops, and yeast, it’s possible to craft an almost endless variety of new and creative beer styles with diverse flavors.
