Hard as iron, soft in character. With Schweiger Ferrum, we have created a specialty
beer with a taste as unique as its production method. During „stacheln“ (branding), dark bock beer is exposed to glowing-hot iron. This creates an explosion of flavors with notes of caramel, coffee, and chocolate. The unique combination of ancient brewing traditions and modern brewing techniques makes our Ferrum an unmistakable character beer – full-bodied, smooth, and unforgettable.

In our brew workshop, our brewmaster experiments with new recipes, brewing them with his creativity and meticulous attention to detail in small batches, much like a test kitchen. Naturally, these smallbatch masterpieces are always created within the framework of our over 500-year-old Bavarian Purity Law. This continuously reminds us that, with nothing more than brewing water, malt, hops, and yeast, it’s possible to craft an almost endless variety of new and creative beer styles with diverse flavors.
